This 1 gallon food grade bucket is great for picking blueberries or storing pumpkin seeds for the month. The small size equals short or long-term storing for foods you don't use large quantities of. Use it for collecting chicken eggs or fresh vegetables from your garden. Convenient for keeping and scooping one gallon of fish food.
A food safe snap on lid is sold separately. The snap on lid does not include a rubber gasket and is not airtight. It's just a simple snap lid.
Use a one gallon mylar bag with O2 absorbers inside each gallon food storage bucket for long term food storage.
For storing larger amounts of food consider these 2 gallon, 3.5 gallon, and 5 gallon food grade buckets.
