Our 2 ounces of Turmeric hand-packed with care in our very own kitchen at Red Hill General Store, located in the town of Hillsville, VA. A necessary ingredient of curry powder and is used extensively in Indian dishes as well as Southeast Asian cuisine. It is also added to mustard blends and relishes and can be used in place of saffron to provide color and flavor. This spice is mildly aromatic with scents of orange or ginger and has a pungent, bitter flavor.
