Morton Sugar Cure with Smoke

This product has been discontinued by Morton. We suggest Morton Tender Quik Base as an alternative.

This mix is formulated especially for dry curing large cuts of meat like hams or bacon. The cure reaction takes longer with the Smoke Flavored Sugar Cure mix than with plain Sugar Cure mix, so the smoke flavored product should be used only for dry curing and not for making a brine (pickle) solution.

Ingredients: salt, sugar, 1.5 sodium nitrate(preservative), propylene glycol, caramelcolor, natural hickory smoke flavor, spiceextractives, dextrose.
