The large 1.75-inch diameter face features easy-to-read black numbers and markings on a white background, and it comes with a red plastic storage sleeve for convenience. Ensure delicious and safe cooking with fast, accurate results. Remove the thermometer from the red pocket, insert the stem at least 2" into the thickest part of the meat, and remove the roast from the oven when the pointer reaches the desired temperature. Allow 15 seconds for an accurate reading. Do not leave the thermometer in the meat if returning it to the oven, as it is not safe for conventional oven use.
