These double faced sledge hammers with hickory handles features a forged tool steel head and a clear laquer finish deterring rust. The striking face is precision machined with proper radius and bevel providing safer performance. Heat treated to produce a fine grain structure. 36 inch long handle made from high quality American Hickory and kiln dried before turning. The eye section is then dried below 10% moisture content prior to assembly by a hydraulic insertion providing a very secure mechanical bond producing the finest in tools for your job.
